Children ages ~2 to 8 years.

Hello! I'm Soraiya, your host.

I am a children's musician based in Nashville, TN. During the pandemic I founded The Little Cubby to offer private Zoom shows for children's birthdays and other special occasions.

My shows are delightful, interactive programs of songs, dancing, rhythm, sign-language, crafts, and story-time for children ages ~2 to 8 years.

How It Works

Choose Your Show

We have different lengths of shows with different programs. Find out more by clicking below.

Reserve Your Date

Grab your spot in our calendar! We recommend booking at least 2 weeks ahead of time so you get the spot you want, and have time to send us your details and invite guests. Don't forget to tell us if you have a special request.

Invite Your Guests

Make sure your guests save the date! We will send you an email with your private Zoom link and other important information that you can share with your group.

Get Parental Consent

We offer you the option of recording your event so that your little ones can re-watch all of the fun! If you choose this option, we'll send you a recording consent form for everyone in your group to sign.

Log On

On your party day, log on 10 minutes early to test your connection.  It's show time!

Enjoy the Fun!

Adults are welcome and encouraged to enjoy the show along with their children.

What Parents Are Saying

"Thanks for such a great party!! You really have such a lovely way with the kids, a natural warmth, and the effort you make to use the kids' names and connect with them goes such a long way."

Camilla B.

"Your Zoom show was a perfect combination of interacting, viewing and listening. You sure know how to keep the kiddos entertained! Your voice and your presence are captivating."

Jessica L.

"Much of the family lives out-of-town. Taking in The Little Cubby Zoom shows together has become a great activity to do with those we can't visit during the pandemic!"

Rehman C.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum number of attendees?

Group Shows: 12 children.

Birthday Hello: 1 child (the birthday child).

Any grown-ups, such as parents or grandparents, may watch/participate from the same device as the child. We discourage grown-ups from logging on from multiple devices, as this increases the number of “tiles” on the Zoom party - making it difficult for the children to interact and see one another.

What is the best age for kids to enjoy this program?

From about age ~2 to 8. My programming is tailor-made to best fit the age range of the children in your group. Older siblings are welcome.

What software and tech setup is needed to participate?
  1. Laptop or desktop computer. (These are preferable to tablets, pads, and smartphones because the latter have smaller screens that make participation difficult, and reduce the sense of community connection).

  2. Stable internet connection.

  3. Familiarity with how to click on a Zoom link, turn on your own video, and mute/unmute yourself. You do not need a Zoom account to attend TLC shows.
Can we get a group photo?

If your group has signed recording consent forms, then yes! Stills (photographs) of your recording can be made. There is no extra fee for recording or stills. Please keep in mind that the recording occurs in Zoom and therefore the quality will not be as crystal clear as a smartphone video.  Your recording and stills will be available withing a week after your scheduled event.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refunds for cancellations made 4+ days before the scheduled event.

Half refunds for cancellations made 2-3 days before the scheduled event.

No refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled event.

Still Have a Question?

Please send any additional questions to info@thelittlecubby.com.  Soraiya does her best to reply within 2 business days, but it may take longer due to volume.
